Markov Chain Monte Carlo
Definition
MCMC: a method that approximates the posterior distribution of a model’s parameters by random sampling in a many-dimensional probability space. It is how the parameters of a Bayesian model are estimated when they cannot be calculated directly. Bianca used it in her marketing-mix modelling project.
